Writer’s Block

It isn’t that I have proper writer’s block.  I know where I want things to go, but I don’t know how to get there.  So I’m going to write a letter to my character.  It’s a good exercise, I think, when you’re feeling blocked in.

Dear Junebug,

Why you have to go and make things so complicated.  I see the way you’re acting like somebody else gets me frustrated.

No, but seriously.  You’re a difficult, silly little girl.  I’ve written psychopaths easier than you.  I’ve written dragons with sweeter dispositions, and necromancers with more charm.  Work with me, child.

With Veiled Threats,

Your Lord and Master

Surprisingly, I got a response:

How did you get this address?  I’m calling the cops.
